ZIA Records Community Improvement Initiative
The Zia Records Community Improvement Initiative (ZCII) started in 2023 as our way of giving back to the dedicated communities that have supported us across Arizona and Nevada. As an employee-owned company, we’re passionate about making a difference, whether it’s through local events, partnerships, or programs that help our neighborhoods thrive.
We believe that by actively engaging with community members and addressing their unique needs, we can create a more sustainable and prosperous environment for everyone involved.
Ultimately, our goal is to build lasting relationships that significantly enhance the quality of life for all residents in these vibrant communities, ensuring a brighter future for generations to come.
Over the years, Zia has been proud to partner with various nonprofits, community groups, and educational institutions that share a common goal of making a positive impact. These collaborations have allowed Zia to expand its reach and effectiveness, enabling it to provide valuable resources and support to those in need -

Cowtown S.K.A.T.E.:
For over 25 years, Cowtown Skateboards has been more than a shop, it’s been a hub for Arizona’s skateboarding culture, giving back through events, gear, and skatepark advocacy. In 2018, we took the next step by launching Cowtown S.K.A.T.E., a nonprofit that channels the same passion into community development. It’s how we pay forward what skateboarding has given us and how we help guide youth toward new possibilities.
Tucson Village Farm:
Tucson Village Farm (TVF) is a seed-to-table program designed to reconnect young people to a healthy food system, teach them how to grow and prepare fresh food, and empower them to make healthy life choices. A program of the Pima County Cooperative Extension and the University of Arizona, TVF is a working urban farm and healthy living center that fosters life and leadership skills in young people through agriculture, culinary education, outdoor adventure opportunities, and community engagement.
Vegas Stronger:
Vegas Stronger is committed to reducing homelessness and addiction by providing immediate, comprehensive, and evidence-based treatment to the most underserved populations in Las Vegas. We aim to restore dignity, independence, and stability by addressing substance use disorders, mental illness, and social barriers to recovery.
By simply rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar at any ZIA Records location, you are helping to provide essential care and support to local arts. Every donation, no matter how small, adds up to make a big difference.
Thank you for making a difference with us.
